It’s exactly the same as any other marriage ceremony!
You will need to prove your age, identity and nationality; your passport and birth certificate will do. If you have been married before, you will need to produce your Decree Absolute or the death certificate for your former spouse.
The minimum that is required is for there to be a registrar or officiant, you and your loved one and two witnesses. You and your partner make a declaration and sign the marriage register. That’s it. Of course you can have rings, new outfits and a big party, but that’s all optional. If you do choose to have lots of guests at the ceremony and a wedding reception, we would love to help you with that to create a remarkable day.
