Can a gay British couple get married in Las Vegas?
Yes, there is even a wedding chapel in Sin City dedicated to same sex weddings – the Gay Chapel of Las Vegas. As same sex marriage is legal in Wales, Scotland and England, when you get married in Las Vegas you will be legally married back home. However, although you have the right to legally wed in Las Vegas there are many chapels that refuse to do so. That is why the Gay Chapel of Las Vegas is the easiest choice. We can help you to get married in Vegas, so book a free consultation today.
Myself and my partner just recently got engaged and we’re looking at different options for our wedding.
Las Vegas being one of them
My question is as we really just want it a very small affair between ourselves , would we need like Witnesses , people to give you away ? Or can it be just us two ?
Many thanks
According to Nevada marriage laws you will need witnesses, but it is easy to find them in Las Vegas for an extra fee and these can be provided by the chapel or a wedding planning company. I can provide information on wedding packages in Las Vegas if that is of interest to you.
Enjoy Sin City
Best wishes,
Petra
I would be interested in the information on wedding packages if possible. Will just be the two of us so will find witnesses when over there. Also, I believe it still has to be registered when we get back to the UK, is that correct? Can it be converted into a marriage at this time too? And do we have to be in Vegas for a certain length of time before the ceremony? Many thanks.
Help! My partner and myself are heading to Las Vegas in a few weeks and have decided we would like to get married while we’re there. Do we need a marriage license? Or is it more of a civil partnership like in the U.K.?
My partner and I will be travelling to Las Vegas in June this year and were hoping to get married while there. What legal requirements do we need and how do I go about getting them? Many thanks for your help
Hi, I’m my partner and I are both from the Philippines are we allowed to be legally married in Vegas? or it will be just a ceremony? Both of us are not US citizens yet..
Response will be highly appreciated. Many Thanks!
